Hello everyone! Rio Olympics, Rakhshabandhan, get togethers, wedding functions... and all other good things  have  come to an end like a cold turkey ;)  Thereby, the September marks its presence, desisting the festivities.    It was one helluva month. You may find pictures of the wedding trousseau related to the events. Friends, we all wait for the occasions especially Indian festivals like, Diwali..Rakshabandhan et al, to enthral us making our monotonous black and white life, invigorating and vibrant - full of colours.  Being said that, a very popular North Indian traditional 'Teej' jamboree is around the corner, for which I've been waiting to revamp my wardrobe. It's the only carnival, which is followed by a fixed dress code all over, [[ Lehariya and Mothda ]]. One tends to fall in love with its pastel palette with the hues like, blush pink, mint green, misty rose etc. I love the collaborative vibe of the colours in dupattas and saris. It's refreshing to layer the lehariya on a monochrome kurta basically white. I believe Pink and White is a match made in heaven. Hey guys! Today I am sharing with you the insights from my monsoon trip to Mumbai and Goa. Being a water person, braving the season's showers, I landed up on the cobbled streets of Mumbai, simply happy to be there without any reason. The warmth of the city gets me smiling exuding that same sigh of Old Bombay. As a traveller, keeping the look minimal, I settled for a nice plaid knee length dress and a relaxed t-shirt tucked into skimpy lil' shorts along with the comfortable pair of flip flops for a two day long vacation. Hey Guys Do you know what? I ended up making a beautiful cake. Please note not only delirious but beautiful. Well, the occasion was my in laws anniversary, waking up the dormant baker inside me. To everyone's surprise it turned out to be an amazing and fabulous gateau. Now, I am not able to hold the level of excitement and eagerness in sharing the recipe inside me. First and foremost, it was a quintessential dark chocolate cake, apt for every occasion. All covered in rich cream icing and white chocolate ganache, decorated with roses, buttercream, choc and cigar rolls. Hello folks! What a fantastic getaway it was, a quick escape from the city !!!!  My husband and I fled away last week for some R & R (rest and relaxtion) landing up surfing on the beach.  The feeling of supreme romance enveloped us both, the moment we reached our destination. Our activity level being minimal feeling worn out, still we somehow managed to channel the cool surfer girl &guy look :B Besides, dripping into the sea and driving jet ski, we had pleasure in soaking up in the sun, getting that deep tan.         Hey! Want to be a stand out fashionista?  Beating the heat this summer, let's get you impeccably dressed in a new hue. Time to ditch the  pastels and opt for an ice breaker 'Cobalt Blue' . I picked this colour blouse from Forever 21 teaming it up with pastel peach front wrap palazzo pants and a black high waist girlfriend jeans (picture of both the ensemble are their on the blog). I was completely awed by the overall look, finishing it up with black-gold mules and a hobo sling bag.  Shoes and the bag were a perfect fun contrast, making it look absolutely eclectic.
